Just Because and All Because
we walk a line twixt Gods and Fate
and who can say, which is the way
to walk today or talk today.
Can you tell me where we just have been,
I think my life's dissolved
into a Dream.
Was that an echo returned
from long ago ?
and do you know anything
that I should know ?
Have we lost 'The Plot' -
But was there one ?
And do you know where
The Good Times have gone?
I keep on wondering
just what is what
It seems like I'm in a World
that's been forgot.
Can you tell me where
you think I've been ?
I tried to find Happiness
in a Kind of Dream.
I heard her voice whisper
soft and low,
to follow her
footprints in the snow.
Then she floated off
on a sort of cloud
and lost herself
amongst the crowd.
And I searched for her
through the Mists of Time,
until I heard her speak
in a Nursery Rhyme.
Then she appeared
inside my head,
but she then told me
that Love was dead.
Now my mind feels like
it's been on fire
and I'm sinking down
into the mire.
Could you tell me please,
just what is what?
It seemed like a Dream -
But it might be not ......
